Transfers to Spain from around Perpignan
The Spanish border is never far, wherever you are in the Pyrénées-Orientales — an advantage many of our clients discover when they book their first trip.
From the coast, a departure from Collioure, Banyuls-sur-Mer or Cerbère naturally brings the border closer: barely thirty minutes is often enough to reach Portbou, Cadaqués or the first beaches of the Costa Brava. It is a run we make very regularly in summer, especially to the coves of Roses or L'Escala, known for waters calmer than the French coast at the same time of year.
Art lovers also regularly make the trip to Figueres, less than an hour from Perpignan, to visit the Dalí Theatre-Museum — a journey short enough to be arranged as a half-day round trip, with no overnight stay needed.
From the Aspres and the Vallespir, a different route takes over: Le Boulou is a natural crossing point into Catalonia by the inland route, towards Figueres and then Girona or Barcelona. It is also peak wedding season in the Aspres, with a clear peak between May and September.
Spring and autumn bring back business journeys and calmer sightseeing tours — wine estate visits, excursions to Collioure or Céret for smaller groups, hiking stays in the Conflent and the Canigou massif.
Winter shifts demand towards the mountains: Andorra and the Pyrenean ski resorts attract regular clients, while the quieter coast returns to mostly local use — medical appointments, home-to-station runs, business trips.
